Who Are We?

Who indeed? ;)
Soldiers For Life, or s4l, is a California based prolife group. Here's our mission statement.

With God's grace to protect and defend the rights of all persons born and unborn, to change the hearts of all who believe abortion is the correct course of action in any case, and to plant a conviction of the evil of this work in the minds and hearts of the lukewarm.
 

We might have changed the wording since then, but that's the jist of it. We believe that abortion is wrong in any case, and contrary to popular belief, we actually do care about the woman and her child. There are lots of resources for a pregnant woman in a crisis pregnancy, but unlike Planned Parenthood, they aren't publicized. Part of s4l's mission is to make these alternatives know to the public. Sure, places like the Siena House probably will never get goverment funding, but if we make it's existance common knowledge, then we have at least balanced the field a little bit.

Anyhoo, my name is Monica, and I run this blog, it's part of my job as Seceratary/Treasurer/Other Stuff.
I'm not actually the head honcho for s4l though, that honor goes to one who prefers to not have her real name up here. So she shall be known as 'The One Who Calls The Shots'.
Another member of our group who's quite important is our Social Media person, she utilizes Twitter to spread the word about prolife news stories and events.
So now you (kinda) know who we are. :)
